All parties represent elite except PPP: Bilawal

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, addressing a political rally in Dera Ismail Khan, criticised rival parties participating in the electoral campaign, stating that others only represent the elite besides PPP. Bilawal expressed his joy at being present once again in the region. He thanked the enthusiastic crowd for their warm welcome. He highlighted the historical connection his family holds with the area, with both former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto — his grandfather and mother — having contested elections here. He said, "We are told that there is a threat of terrorism, and the election campaign should not go on. I will not leave my workers alone. Jiyalas are loyal and courageous people." Highlighting the challenges faced by the country, Bilawal stated, "Our welfare agenda consists of ten points, and through this, we will provide relief to the people. If I become the prime minister, I will double the common man's income." He criticised giving subsidies to the elite, stating, "Subsidies are given to the elite, and 300 billion rupees are spent on 17 ministries. But I will spend that money on the people."
