Security forces on Monday killed two terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s Mardan district, the military said in a statement.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), both terrorists were killed following an exchange of fire during the operation.

It said that weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.
ISPR said that sanitisation operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.
It further said that the local populace appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to security forces in eliminating the menace of terrorism.
