Newly-elected members of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly took oath on Wednesday in a session marred by ruckus and sloganeering in favour of PTI founder Imran Khan. Speaker K-P Assembly Mushtaq Ghani administered the oath to 115 lawmakers during the session of the provincial assembly. Even before the session commenced, chaotic scenes were witnessed as a large number of people took over the gallery area and shouted pro-PTI slogans.  PML-N leader Sobia Shahid was also the target of abuse and bottles, pens and a shoe were thrown at her.  As the session commenced, Imran's candidate for the chief minister slot, Ali Amin Gandapur, arrived at the provincial legislature carrying a picture of Imran. Gandapur vows to reinstate Sehat Insaf Card K-P chief minister-designate Ali Amin Gandapur has vowed that the PTI government will restart the development in the province. Talking about the welfare of the populace, he said the Sehat Insaf Card would be resumed and maintained that law and order was the first priority of the provincial government.  “Bringing the far-flung districts of the province at par with the rest of the province in development is my top priority,” he said, adding that backward districts would be quickly developed to address the grievances of the population. Gandapur added that despite the difficulties that would be faced due to the coalition government at the federal level, he would try his best to get the province its fair share of rights from the federation.
