Security forces on Friday killed four terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district, the military said in a statement.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the conduct of operation, intense fire exchange took place between Pakistani troops and the terrorists.

It said that weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.
It said that sanitisation operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area. It further said that locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
