Security forces on Wednesday killed six terrorists in two separate operations in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, the military said in a statement.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence-based operation (IBO) was conducted in Dera Ismail Khan district on the reported presence of terrorists.
During the conduct of the operation, it said that five terrorists were successfully neutralised by the security forces.

In another fire exchange in the North Waziristan district, Pakistani troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location. As a result, ISPR said, another terrorist Inam Ullah was killed.
ISPR said that weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces as well as innocent civilians.

It further said that sanitisation operation is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area as the security forces are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.
