According to the military's media wing, the exchange took place between troops and terrorists on Tuesday and resulted in the killing of two militants.
“However, during the intense exchange of gunfire Sepoy Waqas Ali Shah, 26, resident of District Charsadda and Sepoy Basit Ali, 24, resident of District Peshawar, fought gallantly and embraced martyrdom,” stated the ISPR.
It added that weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the terrorists and sanitisation of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.
