Tablets provided to Afghan students

Afghan students pursuing digital marketing courses under the Livelihood Improvement & Vocational Skills Training for Afghan Refugees Programme received digital tablets for skill development in a ceremony organized by Pak Mission Society and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The initiative, in collaboration with INU, offers free vocational training to over 250 students, primarily Afghans, with 23 benefiting from the digital marketing and mobile repair courses. The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the program, empowering Afghan trainees with essential skills for improved livelihood opportunities. Guest speakers from Pak Mission Society and UNHCR emphasized the importance of vocational training in providing refugees, especially those with specific needs, a pathway towards self-reliance. During the event, Muhammad Akbar, the Project Manager, acknowledged the commitment of all parties involved in empowering Afghan refugees and promoting socio-economic progress.
